平行国“小小国际大使”享受文化浸泡的一天

Pingo Space "Young Ambassadors" enjoy a day of cultural immersion

2017年11月25日,星期六，一群“小小国际大使”让美好的圣诞节提前到来!一个十分难得的机会降临到他们身上------在圭亚那驻华大使馆，与真正的大使共同享受一天的学习、艺术理解和游戏。这一活动是圭亚那大使馆与平行国的文化合作项目的一部分。平行国“小小国际大使”项目是为六岁以上的孩子提供，旨在通过将世界带给中国儿童，并将中国文化带到世界各地来促进文化意识。这也是为了纪念圭亚那和中国建交45年来，使馆组织的系列活动之一。

Christmas came early for a group of "Young Ambassadors" who were given the rare opportunity on Saturday 25th of November 2017, to interact with a real Ambassador and enjoy a day of learning, art and games at the Embassy of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana.The event formed part of an ongoing program of cultural cooperation between the Embassy and the Pingo Space Young Ambassadors Program – an education program, which aims to promote cultural awareness by bringing the world to Chinese children and taking Chinese culture to children all over the world. It was also part of a series of activities organized by the Embassy in commemoration of 45 years of diplomatic relations between Guyana and China.

2017年，中华人民共和国与圭亚那合作共和国建交45周年。英语为官方语言的南美国家在近年变得越来越强大。在双方政府支持提供的平台下，中国福州与圭亚那首都乔治敦保持着强有力的优先合作。2017年6月27日庆祝了两国建交45周年。庆祝活动旨在培养跨文化关系。对于中国学生来说,在轻松愉悦的环境中学习更多关于圭亚那这个国家及其历史,有助于保持两国和两国人民之间的友好关系。

2017 marketed the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the people's republic of China and the cooperative republic of Guyana. The bilateral corporations of the English speaking south American country are getting stronger by the year. The Chinese city of Fuzhou and Georgetown, the capital city of Guyana is the strongest with both local governance providing a platform for advance corporationThe two countries will celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations on June 27, 2017 and the activity was designed to foster cross-cultural relations and for Chinese students to have a fun time while learning more about Guyana and the longstanding, friendly relationship between the two countries and peoples.

今年，大使馆还与平行国“小小国际大使”项目合作，为中国学生提供一系列的专业技能课程，使他们成为优秀的学习者、更好的领导者、更聪明的创新人才和更有见识的全球公民。平行国的理念是，我们生活在地球村，必须塑造年轻有想法的头脑，成为全球公民。

This year, the Embassy also collaborated with The Pingo Space Young Ambassador Program who provides Chinese students with a series of workshops focusing on specific skills that will prepare them to become exceptional learners, better leaders, smarter innovators, and more informed global citizens. Pingo Space believes that we now live in a global a village, it is obligatory to mold young minds in becoming global citizens.

平行国联合创始人在描述这个项目时曾说:“在孩子性格形成的关键期，为他们引入具有世界性的思维和社会礼仪，是为这些未来的领导者建构一个全球思维框架的准备。这些孩子将会成为全球领袖，我们的未来掌握在他们手中，我们为他们打下怎样的基础，不仅决定着中国的繁荣，也决定着整个世界的繁荣。“小小国际大使”项目的价值远不止为孩子们提供一种文化体验。在这一项目中，我们的学生还会学习贸易在世界范围内的角色意义，以及中国与其他国家建立良好关系的重要性。中国计划进行到中段，平行国希望我们的学生能有将计划提升到全球首创性活动的能力。

Pingo Space Co-founder was quoted saying the following, when describing the program: "introducing worldly enlightenment and social etiquette at characters building ages is what prepares these future leaders in developing a global mind frame. These students are going to be global leaders one day, our futures are in their hands and how we equipped them shall determine the prosperity of not only China but the world as a whole" the young ambassadors program goes beyond just a "cultural experience" for the students. our students are introduced in to understanding the role of trade and the importance of having good relationships with other countries beyond the borders of china. As China is in the middle phases of itswe at Pingo Space want our students to have the skill sets in making a global initiative.

大使馆之旅一开始，学生们就迫不及待地想要逃离寒冷，赶快进入处于中国的“迷你圭亚那”。学生们很清楚，当大使馆大门打开时，他们就会进入圭亚那人民在中国的安全港。通过与圭亚那的孩子合唱当地艺术家杰西卡泽维尔创作的一首歌曲，学生们不再那么紧张焦虑。九点半一到，大门打开，圭亚那大使馆迎来了平行国小大使们。

The embassy tour started off with the students eagerly waiting to escape the cold and enter mini Guyana in China. the students were well aware of the fact that they were soon to be entering the diplomatic property and safe haven of Guyana in china when the gates opened. They calmed their nerves and anxiety by singing along to Guyana child a song made by a Guyana local artist by the name Jessica Xavier. At the stroke of nine 30 the gates welcomed the Pingo Space young ambassadors to Guyana.

孩子们排成一列纵队，受到了使馆人员的热情欢迎。Neishanta和Isha Barrow是他们的随行指导老师。Neishanta是平行国与使馆之间的联络人,(她有着神奇的魅力，让人感到宾至如归)她热烈欢迎了平行国的团队。这时学生们学习的社交礼仪便派上了用场。脱去温暖的冬衣，身着正装的学生们自信大方，侃侃而谈，还介绍了一些中国传统。

The children lined up in single file as they walked into the embassy, they were welcomed in by Counsellor Neishanta Benn and attaché Isha Barrow, . Neishanta was the liaison between Pingo Space before the event, ( she was ever more diplomatic and accommodating making the team feel like family) she warmly welcomed the Pingo Space team and Pingonaut's into the compound, this is where the Pingonaut's started to display their social etiquette skills, as they took of their warm winter coats they showcased their eloquent formal and some traditional Chinese entire.

随后，他们受到了圭亚那大使H.E.Bayneyn Karran的迎接。小小大使们依次上前与他握手，表达了与他见面的喜悦。Bayney Karran大使谈到了圭亚那的历史、经济、文化、地理特征以及与中国的关系。

They were then greeted by H.E. Bayney Karran, Ambassador of Guyana. The Pingonaut's all shook his hand and expressed what a pleasure it was to meet him. Ambassador Bayney Karran gave a talk about Guyana's history, economy, culture, geographic features and its relationship with China.

然后，Neishanta为学生们播放了一段关于圭亚那的视频，并不时提问，回答正确的孩子得到了巧克力豆作为奖励。如果她厌倦了在大使馆的工作，我们非常希望她能来加入平行国!她能让孩子很快的进入上课听讲的状态，也能让孩子们在课堂中活泼气来，这种能力是很难训练出来的。

Counsellor Neishanta Benn then quizzed the younglings on the video which they watch, giving them m&ms for answering the questions correctly. I must say that if she ever got tired of mission work, she is very much welcomed to join the Pingo Space team, her ability to calm and excite young minds is not one that can be trained.

在看完视频、回答完问题之后，Andrea——小小大使中的一员，做了一个演讲，与大使和使馆工作人员分享她的感想;Yuki，同样也是一名小小大使，代表平行国宣读了一封感谢信信。听了这两位举止优雅、落落大方的小小大使的发言，每个人都被打动了。

One of the Pingo Space students, Andrea had written a speech which she wanted to read and share with the ambassador and embassy staff, she was given a chance to do so after the Guyana question game. Yuki a Pingo Space student read out a thank you message on behalf of her Pingonaut's. There was no adult in the room that could keep their emotions in check after the two young student’s speeches.

在使馆访问期间，由Olga担任他们的艺术老师。这位乌克兰美女老师准备了一节绘画课，学生们要画出圭亚那标志性的国鸟。画完之后，学生们来到室外，参加了一场板球比赛，这是圭亚那的民族运动。

The Ukrainian beauty got the Pingonaut's ready for a painting lesson in which the Pingonaut's had to paint the iconic Guyana Toucan Bird. After painting the Pingonaut's went outside for a game of cricket, which is human's national sports.
